WHAT IS IT?
The BMBC is an endeavour started in 2015 by some junior PIs at CRG and IRB (Oriol Gallego, Manuel Mendoza and Pedro Carvalho), and from 2017-2020, Amy Curwin from CRG and Felix Campelo from ICFO have taken over organising. BMBC has been relaunched in 2023 by Anabel-Lise Le Roux (IBEC) and Gabriele Zaffagnini (CRG). The BMBC meets periodicaly (~3 times per year), rotating the speakers and location each time. It consists of 4 speakers per session, each with 30min (20min talk+discussion) with a break in the middle. We are made up of over ten labs around the Barcelona city area, all working in membrane biology-related topics.
